Oroantral Fistula

There are patients who permanently suffer of Rhino sinusitis after having one of the molars of the superior maxillary removed, these people have a FISTULA. This is a communication between the oral cavity and the maxillary sinus, which has to be shut surgically. If this is not done the maxillary infection will never cure, not even if the patient takes antibiotics for a month.
